Mind Control Techniques
Mind Control Techniques
It is strange how fascinated people are with the idea of
mind control. Whether it is hypnotic mind control, or mental
manipulation by the CIA, the idea of controlling the thoughts
of others is everywhere. I think that this is for one simple,
psychological reason. The idea of mind control really
represents the core of human desire. Everyone wishes that they
could just think of something and have it so. No matter whether
you want money, power, love, or success, it would be great to
just be able to think it and have it so.
In recent years, mind control has become big business
in many different ways. On the one hand, ideas of black ops, of
CIA mind control conspiracies, become more and more
common as our liberties are stolen from us and we slip into a
culture of paranoia and constant surveillance. With all of
these evil people watching us, supposedly for our own
protection, and with all of these advertisers trying to
manipulate our thoughts to get us to desire what they have to
sell us, paranoia almost seems like a rational response.
But on the other hand, mind control is being taught more and
more as a technique. The applications range from business to
dating, but techniques such as NLP promise to make it easy for
you to make people bend to your will through suggestion and
other tactics of mental manipulation. Even hypnosis, hokey as
it may sound, is making a comeback. The idea of having someone
else completely under their power is so appealing to some
people that they will do something as strange and outlandish as
trying to hypnotize their target. It is really strange what
some people will do for fun, but there it is.
I have for a long time wanted to study these methods of mind
control, because I have seen people do them, and would like to
learn how to frustrate and defeat them. Business types
regularly use tactics of NLP, where they will consciously use
your words or emulate your body language to try to bring you
over to their side. Political think tanks will try to steal the
language of the other side and change its meaning to take its
power away. Advertisers will tap into our hidden desires to
make us want things which everyone knows that we do not need.
All of this is mind control, and all of it is intentionally
used to manipulate people.
